·Class size: 25-35 students

·School timetable: 7.20AM-11.45AM (morning classes)

·Teaching coordinator: Yes
·Have a working knowledge of teachers’ professional duties and legal liabilities.

·Prepare lesson plan and other materials before the class begins.

·Teach pupils within allocated classes, enhancing their learning and providing the opportunity for achievement for all pupils.

·Planning and preparing tasks which challenge pupils and ensure high level of interest during lessons.

·Monitor the academic progress of pupils within allocated classes and implement appropriate strategies to address underachievement.

·To assess, record and report on the progress and attainment of all pupils within allocated classes.

·To register the attendance of pupils in class.

·To set appropriate homework.

·To mark pupil’s work and give appropriate and constructive feedback.

·Communicate with teaching coordinator over pupils’ progress and participate in departmental meetings.

·Undergo regular observations and participate in regular training.

·Participate in school activities such as Halloween Party, Christmas Party, sports events and other activities. 

·Undergo critical self-evaluation and then participate in continuous professional development designed to enhance the quality of teaching.

·Contribute to the corporate life of the school through effective participation in meetings and management systems necessary to coordinate the management of the school.

·Help students become more scientifically literate by encouraging them to examine the information in the text and illustrations in order to answer questions about it in a variety of ways. Present science as a human activity by considering the development of scientific ideas from the earliest times to the present day. 

·Teach Year 7 & Year 8,9 students Math( Central Language for math). Develop students’ abilities to manipulate numbers and solve a range of numerical problems, helping students develop the academic vocabulary necessary to learn IGCSE math.
